About

I am a believer in in sharing meals and cups of coffee. I believe in nourishment for the body, mind, and spirit. I believe in messy community and always more room at the table.

I believe food carries our stories- some of those are rich with life, and some tear at our spirits. Here is what I know: what I eat in secret is probably not giving me life. The hurried handfuls of chocolate chips and shoveled spoonfuls of peanut butter are not adding life to my years. The best, most life-giving meals I have eaten have been happened at a table, intentionally served.

This isn’t a blog about eating according to physical nutrition facts. This is a blog about the living of a life in our bodies as a way of living more fully into our souls.

I hope you’ll come sit at my table.
